In an effort to support the study of Midwifery, Peace Tree Village created the Triangle Midwifery Study Group. This study group is open to anyone interested in learning midwifery and endorses all routes of study; Nurse Midwifery (CNM), Certified Professional Midwifery (CPM), Licensed Midwifery (LM) and direct entry or traditional routes. Peace Tree Village recognizes that all types of midwifery hold value to the birthing community. Our study group promotes a sisterhood between all of the disciplines. The members of the study group meet twice a month to explore and learn all aspects of midwifery, while also creating a support and referral network for all students both beginner and experienced alike.
